The Smart Development Franchise has organized a comprehensive network of services and tools which are divided into two categories: a) in the setting up of the business as well as its subsequent organized and proper management and b) in its actual operation. These two major categories are analyzed as follows:

1.1) About setting up the business

We know that starting a business from scratch can seem daunting, so we've methodically followed the steps below to help you get started:

a) Our cooperation begins with the market research that Franchise does for you. This research concerns the detailed study of the area that interests you or that we will jointly decide on, in order to choose the right spot to then find the space where you will set up your business. In addition, the research includes data regarding the population of the area, the economic status of the residents and of course the schools, the number of students and the competition that you may face.

b) We help you choose the right building. You can choose a space starting from 70 sq.m. We recommend to all our prospective partners that the space to be used be at least 80 sq.m. to enable the use of all the services we provide as Study Centers. Once the building is selected, Franchise proceeds to a financial budget for you, initially for the purchase of the necessary equipment and then for the monthly income and expenses of your business, at least for the first period of operation of your Center.

It should be noted here that, regardless of region, no later than the second year of operation of your Center and thereafter, profits are estimated to start at €2,000 per month.

The cost of the necessary equipment is estimated to range from €3,000 to €5,000 maximum, depending on how many square meters the space you choose will be.

Also, if you wish, we are able to find for you any crews needed to set up and decorate your space (painter, drywall installation crew, electricians, plumbers, etc.), at the lowest possible prices.

The Smart Development Franchise does not oblige its partners to purchase any specific equipment or decorate the space in a specific way. We have a general uniform line on these issues, but each shareholder of our Franchise has the ability to design/decorate their space as they wish.

c) We provide all the necessary knowledge about the legal procedures needed to start operating your Center.

d) We know the procedures required by law and can guide you properly to have your Center contract with all the state's insurance funds, so that your clients can receive any reimbursement they are entitled to from their insurance fund and thus cover part of the cost of treatments and special education.

e) We guide you in finding the necessary personnel to staff your Center. In addition to a “pool” of collaborators that Smart Development has and will be at your disposal, we will help you in searching for personnel and selecting the appropriate human resources.

1.2) Business management

Due to our many years of experience in the field of freelancing in general and private education in particular, we are able to know that in order to be and remain healthy and profitable, a business must be based on a strong foundation. The foundations of a successful business are based on its proper and organized management. Therefore, we provide all the necessary tools for you to manage your Center:

a) Initially, the Franchise undertakes to organize you and your business through seminars before it even starts operating. In these seminars, the methods of attracting and interacting with customers and with the students themselves are analyzed, as well as the way your Center operates, using the educational material described below. In addition, meetings are held at regular intervals, in which the opinions and any problems of each shareholder are discussed individually.

b) We provide a database built by a programmer. This way you will be able to register your clientele in an easy and fast way. Also, since the model of large private educational institutions abroad is followed, this database can provide statistical data necessary for the management of your clientele as well as for your business's advertising practices (marketing).

c) We provide a free ready-made website, exclusively yours (not just participation in the Franchise's main website), to which you can add or remove things and configure it as you wish. Here we should note that the cost of building a very simple website starts at €600, the website we provide for free costs €1,200.

It is important for each Center to have its own website. For example, when someone searches for “Agia Paraskevi Study Centers,” your website will be displayed in the results if your Center is located in Agia Paraskevi.

d) We provide comprehensive and innovative advertising models for your business. We undertake the graphic design of your advertising media free of charge (brochures, videos and social media material, etc.). We also implement innovative promotional ideas that yield maximum results, with zero or minimal financial cost. Thus, your Center will be constantly on the alert, anticipating the ever-increasing demands of the market.

e) We provide all the necessary electronic and printed tools (forms, applications, informational texts, etc.) to inform and organize your registered or potential clientele.

f) We help you correctly price all of your Center's services in a way that makes it competitive and completely profitable.

g) As a shareholder in the Smart Development Franchise, you gain access to an electronic platform that is mainly aimed at the parents of your students. There you will be able to upload material that will concern the progress of each student participating in your Center. Thus, each parent will be able to use their email, at any time, to enter the platform and see the information concerning their own child. Of course, we provide all the means of organizing an individual portfolio for each child.

2.1) Operation of the business itself

Having analyzed the part of setting up and managing the Center, let's now move on to the essential part of operation. The services provided by the Smart Development Centers can be seen on our website. However, as far as the means for these services to function properly and efficiently are concerned, the Franchise is organized as follows:

a) In addition to the electronic platform for parents mentioned above, we have also built another electronic platform that is addressed exclusively to Franchise shareholders and we call it “E-Class”.

As a Franchise shareholder through this platform you will have access to:

i) In the solutions to the exercises in the textbooks and school workbooks for all primary school subjects.

ii) In presentations created by the Franchise, based on the objectives set by the Ministry of Education, for each chapter, each lesson, which you will be able to consult in order to teach in an organized and efficient manner, while keeping pace with the teaching that takes place in schools.

iii) In additional electronic exercises, created by Franchise, to help students better understand the material.

v) In the programs with educational activities (prevention and skills development activities) that will be carried out during the Christmas, Easter and Summer holidays. Before the start of each period, presentations of each topic are uploaded to E-Class along with instructions for its implementation.

b) We have the procedures and can guide you on the operation of additional benefits such as school bus transportation, student lunch, insurance coverage for any accidents, High School classes, etc.

2.2) Therapeutic programs/Special education programs

The services provided by the Smart Development Centers also include therapeutic/special education programs for children with learning disabilities.

a) We are able to undertake the organization of special education programs for you.

b) We have and provide you with the appropriate - weighted diagnostic tools, formal and informal tests (Lamda test, MathPro test, etc.) through which a complete history can be formed for the child experiencing learning difficulties (assessment) as well as the appropriate intervention program can be proposed.

3) Cost of participation – Conclusions

The cost of participating in the Franchise (entry fees) is €6,000 (excluding royalties for one year). This cost includes participation in all the above benefits as well as in the group marketing activities that concern our entire network.

To summarize, the average cost to start your own business is on average €15,000, including equipment, the configuration of an 80 sq m store and the costs for the Franchise.
